This policy explains what the Quran Map app collects, what it does not, and who else is involved when you use it. It covers the iPhone and iPad app only.

Quran Map does not ask you to register, sign in, or give a name or email address to use it. We do not hold a user account for you, and we do not store your personal information on our servers.
The following is saved on your iPhone and is not sent to us:
Deleting the app removes all of it. We cannot recover it for you, because we never had it.
The free version of Quran Map shows advertising supplied by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may process your device's advertising identifier, approximate location derived from your IP address, and information about the ads you are shown. This is handled by Google under Google's own privacy terms, not by us.
A Premium subscription removes advertising from the app.
Premium subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple tells us only whether a subscription is active.
We use RevenueCat to check subscription status. RevenueCat assigns your installation a random identifier that is not linked to your name, email or Apple Account, and receives the purchase receipt Apple issues. Their handling is covered by the RevenueCat privacy policy.
Audio and text are fetched from third-party Islamic content providers, including IslamiCloud and AlQuran Cloud. Requesting a file sends them your IP address and a standard request, as any internet request does. We do not send them anything identifying you.
If you allow notifications, the app schedules them on your device — a daily verse, and a Friday reminder for Surah Al-Kahf. These are created locally on your iPhone. No push service is used and no device token leaves the app. You can turn them off at any time in iOS Settings.
Quran Map is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because we hold no account and no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or erase on request. If you believe otherwise, write to us at the address above and we will look into it.
If this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page with a new date. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
